ABOUT VOCATIO

What Vocatio Means

Vocatio is a Latin word, pronounced as ‘vo-caa-tio’.

It means ‘a call or summons’ (वो- का – टी – ओ)

for an occupation to which a person is specially drawn to for which he or she is suited.

Vocatio Career Education Council is a dedicated not-for-profit organisation committed to advancing career education and guidance. We deliver comprehensive career awareness programmes, tailored career education initiatives, and personalised career counselling services. At the heart of our mission is a deep commitment to social equity, ensuring that high-quality career support and opportunities are accessible to all individuals, regardless of their background or circumstance.

Family and societal pressure often override students' personal interests.
